Cătălin Silvestru

Cătălin Ionuț Silvestru is Associate Professor in the Economic Informatics and Cybernetics Department, Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest, where he also received his PhD in Economic Informatics. He is a member of the INFOREC professional association, Project Management Romania, ACM, IEEE, and others, and holds one approved invention and one prototype.

His work focuses on programming, robotics, blockchain, information systems, e-learning, lifelong learning, project management, building management systems, integrated management systems, and human resources development. He has served as Project Manager on 7 nationally-funded and 9 internationally-funded research projects won by competition, and is a member of several working groups at European level (EQF AG, ESCO) and local level. He has published over 40 articles, presented over 30 papers at conferences, and been a member of over 38 research projects.
