Sorin Anagnoste

Sorin Anagnoste is an Associate Professor and Vice-Dean at the Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Languages (FABIZ), part of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE). With a background in finance and a strong focus on applied business strategy, his work centers on questions such as “What comes next?”, how technology and software reshape industries, and how organizations build durable competitive advantages.

Alongside his academic role, he engages regularly with companies that are scaling, pivoting, or launching new ventures. Over the past 15+ years, he has developed a diverse portfolio of experience, working with both established organizations and local venture capital. His approach is guided by a bias for effective action — “What did you deliver this week?” — and a belief that meaningful progress is built through collaboration and long, focused effort.
