She holds a Bachelor degree in Finance from the Babes-Bolyai University, a Bachelor degree in Statistics, also from Babes-Bolyai University, a Master degree in Econometrics and Applied Statistics, from the University of Orléans. She was a visiting PhD student at the University of California San Diego and has a PhD in Economics from the University of Warwick.

Andrea Naghi taught Microeconomics, Econometrics Projects, Econometrics Master’s Theses and Econometrics Bachelor’ Theses at the Erasmus University and Econometrics, Statistical Techniques at the University of Warwick.

She is the author of several scientific materials, including “Identification Robust Predictive Ability Testing”, “Assessing Global Identification in DSGE Models”, “The Value Added of Machine Learning to Causal Inference: Average Treatment Effects and Hetero-geneity” (with Anna Baiardi), “Estimation and Inference under Weak Identification in MIDAS Models” (with Michel van der Wel) and “Testing Forecast Rationality under Asymmetric and Unknown Loss”.

Her research interests are: Econometrics, Applied Econometrics and Causal Machine Learning.
